Maj Gen Rasikh Maqsood is renowned and respected surgeon of the country. He is the Head of Surgery in Fauji Foundation Hospital Rwp. Trained in UK, he is an in instructor in Advanced Trauma Life Support course (ATLS) from The American College of Surgeons. He has been awarded Hilal-e- Imtiaz (Military), Tamgha – Imtiaz (Military), Chief of Army Staff Commendation Card & Chief of the Naval Staff Letter of Commendation in recognition of his meritorious services during earthquake and war on terror. As Director General of Surgery Pakistan Army, he introduced MRCS (UK) exam for the first time in Pakistan in 20222.
