Professor Dr. Arfan ul Bari is one of Pakistan’s most distinguished and respected dermatologists, bringing over three decades of exceptional clinical, academic, and leadership experience to patient care and medical education. He recently retired as Head of the Department of Dermatology at Combined Military Hospital Rawalpindi and served as Advisor in Dermatology to the Pakistan Armed Forces, reflecting the highest level of professional trust and expertise. A master clinician and visionary teacher, Prof. Dr. Arfan ul Bari has mentored more than 100 postgraduate dermatology trainees, many of whom now serve as consultants across Pakistan and abroad. He is a recognized examiner and faculty member of Dermatology at the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan, playing a pivotal role in maintaining national standards of postgraduate medical education. His academic contributions are exceptional, with over 200 peer-reviewed publications in leading national and international journals and authorship of multiple textbook chapters.
