Under the leadership of Dr. Husnain Hashim, the Neurology Department was awarded WSO’s Platinum Status for establishing a stroke unit and improving stroke care at the provincial level by the Healthcare Minister Punjab. The department successfully organized a World Brain Day conference chaired by Lt. Gen. Waseen Alamgir (Retd), Vice Chancellor NUMS.
