Installation of Mammography Machine at Fauji Foundation Hospital, Rawalpindi
A mammogram is an essential tool for screening as well as diagnosing breast cancer. Breast cancer is the commonest cancer among females and early diagnosis and prompt treatment is a lifesaver.
On 12th October 2020, Mammography Machine was installed at Fauji Foundation Hospital Rawalpindi. This event was inaugurated by Mrs. Ayesha Amjad Bajwa, wife of Chief of Army Staff. Mrs. Bajwa visited the radiology department and met with the doctors and staff. A small presentation regarding imaging of breast cancer was given by Prof Dr. Kiran F Farooq, Head of Radiology dept FFH. This was followed by tea and hospital plaque was presented to the Chief Guest
