Trg is a cont process and staying abreast in dealing with calamities can’t be over emphasized. Consistent with maint highest level of readiness and initiating a befitting response FFHR admin requested Rescue 1122 to organize a trg wksp to freshen up knowledge of staff regarding fire, its genesis, stages, hazards, handling and generating response to include checks at both commercial and domestic lvl for obviating eruption.
Wksp was attended by staff comprised of three parts:-
- The first part of trg acquainted all participants with the chemistry of fire to incl its development, phases and measures to overcome with special emphasis on use of implements at hand.
- The second part of the trg encompassed the most imp phase of evac with spec ref to hosp environment where each and every indl will be req to evac at least another hospitalized indl.
- The third part of the trg mainly focused on prac aspects of dealing wit safety gear and use of fire extinguishers with some prac tips of apch fire while remaining cognizant of entry/exit points.
Overall experience of trg with Rescue 1122 was worthwhile since it offered an insight into some real time situations. Furthermore, it gave a fair idea to all participants with respect to obviating causes of fire and indl resp both in terms of extinguishing fire and effecting evac. Such like trg wksps will go a long way in improving org efficiency.
