The Ophthalmological Society of Pakistan (OSP) held the 24th Annual Conference at Pearl Continental Hotel Bhurban from 7th to 9th July 2023. The conference included a Quiz Competition arranged for postgraduate residents. 8 teams from all over Pakistan competed against each other in 10 knock-outrounds. The team from Fauji Foundation Hospital Rawalpindi, comprising of two 2nd year postgraduate trainees Dr. Maham Fazal and Dr. Aneeqa Naz, emerged successful and bagged 1st Position along with a cash prize of PKR 25,000.
The conference also conducted a scientific paper presentation competition among the postgraduate trainees. Dr. Erum Nasir, Dr. Wali Waqar Qureshi and Dr. Momina Ahmed Noor represented Fauji Foundation Hospital and again outperformed all other training institutes. Dr. Erum Nasir secured the first position and was given the Best Paper Award and a cash prize of PKR 25,000.
